Kuiken Brothers Company Acquires Elmwood Supply

Kuiken Brothers Company, Inc., a building material dealer with six locations throughout northern New Jersey and southern New York, announces the acquisition of Elmwood Supply Company, Inc. located in Garfield, New Jersey. The new entity will operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kuiken Brothers Company, DBA (doing business as) Elmwood Supply.

Elmwood Supply, a well-respected name in the industry for over thirty years, will continue to operate as a specialty supplier and distributor of interior building products, such as drywall, steel studs and commercial ceiling tile and grid, serving the professional applicator, general contractor, specialty builder and industrial accounts.

According to Kuiken Brothers Company President Douglas R. Kuiken, the objective in the short-term is to continue in Elmwood Supply’s tradition of supplying high quality products and service. He adds, “This is a good fit and as a result of our mutual efforts, extensive product mix, combined resources and synergies, we will be in a very good position to leverage our attributes and grow the business; adding value for our customers and security for our employees.”
Kuiken Brothers Company, Inc. is a 92-year old family-owned business headquartered in Fair Lawn, NJ.
