Elmwood Supply Acquires DCI Door

A statement released today by Kuiken Brothers Company, a building materials supplier with headquarters in Fair Lawn, New Jersey, disclosed the company's purchase of the assets of Director Commercial Industries, LLC (DCI) of Hackensack, New Jersey.

For the past 25 years, DCI has offered its customers a coordinated package of quality doors, frames, and hardware. Now, with this acquisition, its operations and capabilities have been merged with those of a Kuiken Brothers' subsidiary, Elmwood Supply in Garfield, New Jersey. Elmwood Supply will now be able to provide access to a variety of commercial building products, including drywall, steel studs, commercial ceiling tiles and grid, wood doors and hardware, hollow metal frames and doors, as well as custom hardware.

Established in 1912, Kuiken Brothers Company has grown to become a leading supplier of quality building materials and related services with a focus on serving the needs of professional contractors in the region. With a staff comprising more than 250 people, the company operates from six locations in New Jersey - Fair Lawn, Emerson, Garfield, Midland Park, Ogdensburg, and Wantage - and one in Warwick, New York.
